Maryland’s Future is a grassroots organization organized by Delegate Nino Mangione that is committed to identifying and communicating important issues that matter to Marylanders. One party control is leading Maryland down a dangerous path. Maryland’s Future is dedicated to making certain the Republican point of view is offered on the issues that matter most so we can bring a common sense, conservative approach to our government. Our state faces serious challenges at every level of government. Federal, state, and local issues such as taxes, spending, public safety, and the education of our children concern every Marylander.

Maryland’s Future will utilize the full resources of social media to provide information and promote discussion on important issues. The political process is important and creating the discussion is essential. Republicans have great ideas, real solutions and a common sense approach to government on every level. Our nation and Maryland are being driven in the wrong direction. Maryland’s Future mission is to advance common sense change and stop outrageously liberal public policies advanced by the Democrats.

Taxes and Spending

Maryland does not have a revenue problem. Maryland has a spending problem. The irresponsible spending plans of Maryland’s Governor and the Democrat super majority in the legislature have set our state on a pathway to extreme budgeting issues that we have not seen since the O’Malley days. The Democrats spending plans in Congress have done the same thing to America. Just this year Governor Moore increased 338 fees on Marylanders. The state gas tax continues to increase every year without discussion or vote because the Democrat majorities want to avoid accountability. Our state and nation cannot continue on this fiscal path.

Crime and Public Safety

Violent crime continues to plague Maryland and our nation. This epidemic of violent crime is largely driven by weak policies enacted by the Democrat majorities in the Maryland legislature and by the Biden administration on the federal level. It is time that we stop making excuses for violent criminals and enact tough punishments for those who terrorize our citizens. We must also demand accountability, transparency and action from judges or prosecutors. The simple fact of the matter is you cannot have a society where violent criminals run wild with no regard for life or property.

Illegal Immigration

The Democrats on the state and national level have refused to take meaningful action enforcing our immigration laws allowing our communities to be overrun by people who have no right to be in our country in the first place. This has led to violent crime including murders, increase drug trafficking for illegal substances like fentanyl, a total lack of safety for our citizens, and chaos in our communities created by an influx of illegals pouring into Maryland and the United States. The Democrats policies of open borders and a total disregard of our nation’s immigration law has created a crisis in America.

Education and Parental Rights

Our children are being failed every day by an education system that spends billions of dollars but never focuses on student achievement, accountability, and delivering the results every parent wants. Worse yet, the education establishment wants to exclude parents from the process! Parents are not the enemy of a good education. And neither is competition. Parents have rights to determine the best education for their children and should have every option available to them including school choice. Competition is good for education! We cannot continue to allow underperformance in our school systems. The problem requires accountability, not just money.

About Our Chairman

Nino Mangione was elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2018 was sworn in as a freshman legislator in 2019 and was rewarded with a seat on the Appropriations Committee. Nino has been a tireless advocate for prudent spending, strong fiscal management and protecting taxpayers.

Nino is known in the House of Delegates for unwavering support of law enforcement, advocacy of parental rights in education and the protection of Maryland taxpayers. He is a strong conservative focused on his constituents and common-sense approaches to state government.

Nino Mangione is a conservative Republican fighting for freedom and the future of Maryland. Nino stands with the taxpayers, fights for our values, and pushes back against the “WOKE” policies of the radical left that make our streets unsafe, raise our taxes, waste our money and trample on our freedoms.

Nino Mangione is a lifelong resident of Baltimore County. Nino attended Calvert Hall High School. He then attended Towson University on a soccer scholarship earned a degree in political science, graduating cum laude as a scholar athlete. While at Towson, he became the President of the Towson University Republican Club. Nino is employed at WCBM Radio as Director of Digital Content and as an on air talent.
